I am very surprised and impressed by the art at deviantART. Seeing everyone’s creativeness and talent is encouraging. I am a jaded myspace and youtube user. I’d almost given up on humanity completely, yet here at this website I see proof that the world is not entirely composed of losers and morons. There are still some people out there who are imaginative. Imagination and original self-expression are signs of intelligence, which is very encouraging. This website encompasses everything art should be. It’s armature and professional; it’s fun, expressive, sometimes-offensive, and limitless. As I browse the categories, I am amazed by the talent. In my opinion, there is no such thing as “bad art”. Some artists are more skillful or talented, it’s true, yet I would rather see a scribble from someone with heart than a masterpiece from a conceded professional. Luckily, deviantart.com has it all, so I am free to enjoy the endless stream of art. I find it wonderful.
